Clean the print-cartridge area
|
You do not need to clean the print-cartridge area often. However, cleaning this area can improve the quality of the printed sheets.
| WARNING!
|
Before changing the separation pad, turn the product off, disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet, and then wait for the product to cool.

| Disconnect the power cord from the product. Open the print-cartridge door, and then remove the print cartridge.
|
|
| CAUTION:
|
Do not touch the black-sponge transfer roller inside the product. Doing so can damage the product.
|
|
| CAUTION:
|
To prevent damage, do not expose the print cartridge to light. Cover it with a piece of paper.
|

| With a dry, lint-free cloth, wipe any residue from the paper-path area and the print-cartridge cavity.
|
|
| 3.
|
| Reinstall the print cartridge, and then close the print-cartridge door.
|
|
| 4.
|
| Disconnect the power cord.
|
